2-day passport seva camp begins in Kargil
Kargil, July 12: Chairman/CEC, LAHDC, Kargil, Dr Mohd Jaffer Akhoon and Deputy Commissioner/CEO, LAHDC, Kargil, Shrikant Suse today inaugurated two-day passport seva camp at New NIC Building Kargil.
The camp was aimed to make passport applications easy and accessible. The passport seva camp for Hajj pilgrims 2025 and the general public is being organized by Haj Committee UT Ladakh in collaboration with District Administration Kargil.
The others who were present include Chairperson Haj Committee UT Ladakh, Mohammad Ali Majaz, Regional Passport Officer, Kashmir and Ladakh, Davinder Kumar, a team of officers from the Passport Office Srinagar and others.

The CEC Dr Mohd Jaffer Akhoon while expressing satisfaction over the conduct of the camp in the district appreciated the efforts of Passport Office Srinagar.
He expressed optimism that the passport seva camp would benefit applicants by providing a hassle-free, easy, and affordable way to obtain passports. He also hoped that a Passport Seva Kendra would soon be established in Kargil district.
