VoL Desk, June 11: The newly elected Member of Parliament from Ladakh, Mohammad Hanifa Jan reached the national capital today and met with the Congress President Malik Arjun Kharge.

He was accompanied by the Chief Executive Councillor (CEC), LAHDC, Kargil and the President of Congress unit Kargil, Councillor Nasir Hussain Munshi. He later met with Agha Mehdi Mehdavipore, the representative of Supreme Leader of Iran in India.

Mohmad Hanifa the newly elected MP from Ladakh, won the election with a big margin of 27,862 votes defeating the Tsering Namgyal of INC and Tashi Gyalson of BJP. His victory is considered as a historic win in the history of Ladakh.
