Kargil’s Muntazir Mehdi Ahmad Scores 99.83 Percentile in NEET 2024
VoL Desk, June 05: Muntazir Mehdi Ahmad from Shakar Chiktan village of Kargil district has secured outstanding score of 692 out of 720 which is 99.83 percent, securing the all India rank 3799 and all India ST rank 17 in the NEET 2024 exam held on May 05.
Muntazir Mehdi Ahmad received his early education till class 6th from Munshi Habibullah Higher Secondary Mission School, Kargil then from class 6th to class 8th he studied at Partap World School, Pathankot Punjab. From Saink School Kunjpura, Karnal, Haryana he complete his 9th and 10th schooling.
To pursue higher education he moved to Allen Career Institute, Kota where he pursued his secondary education.

Muntazir has also secured outstanding performance in JEE Mains 2024 in which he has secured 99.57 percentile.
NEET UG entrance examination was conducted on May 05, 2024, in the NEET UG exam witnessed the highest registration of 2406079 candidates this year. Of them 2333297 or 96.9% has appeared and out of which, a total of 13162686 or 56.4% candidates have qualified the exam. The passing percentage is almost the same as last year at 56.2 %.
The exam witnessed an increase in qualifying marks this year. For instance , the qualifying marks range from unreserved category last year was 720-137 and it has increased to 720-164 this year. Similarly, for OBC, SC ,and ST categories, it has increased from 136-107 last year to 163-129 this year.
