Two Injured as Vehicle Plunges into River at Purtikchay
VoL Desk, May 06: Two individuals have sustained severe injuries after their vehicle plunged into a river at a deep gorge near Purtikchay village, adjacent to the Suru View guest house, according to sources.
As per reports, the vehicle was associated with Topline Company. The exact count of passengers aboard remains unknown, prompting a coordinated rescue effort by Ladakh Police and local volunteers at the accident site.
The vehicle, bearing the registration number JK-10 A, is reported to be a Camper. The injured parties have been identified as Sham Lal (32), son of Parbudiya, and Raj Kumar (44), son of Daramchand, both residents of Udumpore.

Initially treated at the Community Health Centre in Sankoo, they have since been transferred to the District Hospital Kargil for further medical attention.
