Sixth Schedule on top of Congress manifesto; Tsering Namgyal reach Kargil for campaigning
VoL Desk, May 14: The Indian National Congress candidate from the 01 Ladakh constituency, Tsering Namgyal visited Kargil District on Tuesday to campaign for the Lok Sabha election scheduled on May 20 in Ladakh constituency. At his arrival in the district, he met with the President of Jamiat Ulama Isna Ashariya, Kargil Shiekh Nasir Medhi. In the evening, he met with the Anjuman Sofia Noorbakshia members.
While briefing to media he said that in meeting with the President JUIAK he deliberated upon the major issues of Kargil especially the Kargil Airport, unemployment and other developmental issues. He assured that in case of his success he will resolve the issue of airport on priority by taking up the matter with the Ministry of Civil Aviation. He further assured to work firmly for the fulfillment of the four-point agenda of Ladakh.
Meanwhile, he has been in Kargil for three days for election campaigning tour and on Wednesday he toured to Sankoo Subdivision. So far, he has almost completed his campaigning process in Leh district.

The INC candidate Tsering Namgyal has announced his election manifesto which, in line with their national manifesto, includes inclusion of Ladakh in Six Schedule, roll back of Agnipath Scheme, assuring employment for youths, special budget and constitutional guarantee for SC/ST etc.
