Kargil, May 04: Mutahhary Public School High Department, Kurbathang today celebrated the annual Shaheed Mutahhary Day with a fervent display of cultural diversity and academic prowess. The event, held on May 04, 2024, showcased the multifaceted talents of the students, who performed various activities in Balti, English, Farsi, Urdu, Hindi, and Arabic languages.

The celebrations encompassed stirring dramas, melodious taranas and enlightening speeches, reflecting the spirit and ideals of Shaheed Mutahhary.

During the event chief guest Al Haj Asgar Ali Karbalai, patron of Mutahhary Educational Society (MES), emphasized the collective responsibility towards holistic development and social responsibilities. He also commended the students for their remarkable achievement of securing the 2nd position at UT level during the Republic Day parade on January 26, 2024.

Moreover, he commended the students’ artistic portrayal in support of the oppressed children of Gaza, shedding light on the ongoing Israeli aggression.

Guest of Honor Mr Fida Hussain Wazir, Chairman of MES, underscored the significance of the Shaheed Mutahhary’s ideology in revolutionizing modern education in Kargil.

Speakers during the event lauded the students for their outstanding performances, particularly highlighting their dramatic presentations on the New Education Policy, NEP 2020 and a YATO club drama addressing the pressing issue of drug abuse.

The event served as a testament to the school’s commitment to nurturing not only academic excellence but also a deep sense of social awareness and responsibility among its students.
