Kargil, April 30: District Legal Service Authority Kargil in collaboration with Forest Division Kargil today conducted a plantation drive at Court Complex Baroo, Kargil.

Chairman, District Legal Service Authority, Kargil, Secretary District Legal Service Authority Kargil, Chairman Bar Association Kargil, staff of District Legal Service Authority Kargil and Forest Division Kargil participated in the event.

A sapling of the state evergreen tree of UT Ladakh, locally known as Shukpa, was propagated from seed in a poly bag under polycarbonate greenhouse conditions at Kurbathang Nursery. The Chairman District Legal Services Authority planted it at the Court Complex in Baroo, Kargil. The other participant also planted sapling of Pinus wallichiana, Horse chestnut and Deodar species in the complex.

The Secretary DLSA Kargil thanked the Forest Department and their staff members for their cooperation, highlighting their keen interest in ensuring success of the event.
