Agha Mehdavipur Thanks Indian Government and Communities for Honoring Martyrdom of President Raeisi and Officials

VoL Desk, May 25: Agha Mehdi Mahdavipur, the Representative of the Wilayat Faqih in India, expressed his heartfelt gratitude in a condolence letter to the Government of India, as well as the Shia and Sunni communities and organizations, for their tributes and congregations following the tragic martyrdom of Iran’s President, Ayatollah Ibrahim Raisi.

He emphasized that the loss of President Ayatollah Ibrahim Raeisi, Foreign Minister Dr. Amir Abdullahian, the Representative of the Supreme Leader in East Azarbaijan Ayatollah Aal Hashim, the region’s Governor Dr. Rahmati, and other colleagues was a profound tragedy for the country. However, the condolences and gatherings held at Imambargahs and mosques, along with visits to the Iranian Embassy and the Government of India’s day-long state mourning, provided solace to those affected.

Ayatollah Ibrahim Raeisi, Dr. Amir Abdullahian, and their colleagues were influential beyond Iran. Their efforts for global peace, friendly international relations—including with India—and their stand against oppression, especially in Gaza against Israeli atrocities, are highly commendable.
