VoL Desk, April 30: Ahead of the nomination of candidate for the Lok Sabha elections, top Congress leaders of District Kargil have left for Delhi, confirmed reliable sources. However, reason of their visit remains unknown.

Among the leaders visiting Delhi consist of veteran Congress leader Haji Asgar Ali Karbalai and Congress District President Nasir Hussain Munshi.

Meanwhile, there are speculations that the Congress and National Conference units of Kargil have agreed to field Haji Hanifa Jan on Congress mandate for the upcoming election.

However, the sudden visit of the top leaders to Delhi has added to the curiosity among the general public about the potential candidate to field for the election. However, talks are underway between political parties to field a joint candidate.
