VoL Desk, March 05: Pleased with the Bharatiya Janata Party’s selection of Stanzin Lakpa from Zanskar as a prospective candidate for the upcoming parliamentary election in Ladakh, several religious and cultural groups in Zanskar conveyed their gratitude and appreciation to the party.

The Zanskar Buddhist Association in a notice that they forget to explain what type of communication it is, on behalf of the people of the Zanskar Subdivision expressed heartfelt gratitude / thank you to the concerned at the BJP party for considering and including the name of Stanzin Lakpa from Zanskar among the panel of candidates for the Ladakh Parliamentary Constituency.

The Association stated that the gesture is testament and witness to the unwavering commitment of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) towards inclusivity and recognizing merit.

“We are firmly of the opinion that Shri Stanzin Lakpa from Zanskar embodies the values and principles that BJP party stands for and upholds, and his inclusion in the panel reflects the party’s dedication to fostering capable leadership in our nation’s political landscape. His integrity, dedication, and vision for the development of Ladakh in general and Zanskar in particular resonate deeply with the aspiration of its people”, stated the notice.

The Muney Gonpa Cultural & Welfare Society in a letter to President BIP, Ladakh Phuntsog Stanzin also expressed “deepest gratitude and appreciation” for recommendation of Stanzin Lakpa in the panel list for the Ladakh parliament Candidate for the Ladakh parliamentary constituency. This decision holds profound significance for the people of Zanskar, as it marks a historic moment where a representative from our region has been given the opportunity to be the voice of Ladakh in the esteemed Lok Sabha.

In an appreciation letter to National President, Bhartiya Janta Parti (BJP), JP Nadda, Geshe Lama Chosphel Zotpa, President Himalayan Buddhist Cultural Association also expressed heartfelt appreciation for the recent decision to include a leader from Zanskar Shri Stanzin Lakpa in the panel list for Parliamentary Constituency mandate.
