Kargil, March 12: The Lt. Governor, Brig (Dr) BD Mishra, recently inaugurated a skill center and laboratories focusing on mushroom culture, high-altitude trekking guide, graphic design, and jam & jelly production technician at the Elijah Joldan Memorial (EJM) College in Leh.

Addressing the gathering, the LG emphasized the crucial role of youth in national development, stressing the importance of bolstering the education and skill sectors. He highlighted the abundant talent among the youth of Ladakh and stated that the administration along with the local stakeholders is working towards channeling this talent so as to ensure that they become job givers instead of job seekers.

During the ceremony, the LG also launched the Higher Education Department portal and unveiled the annual college magazine titled “Senge Khababs”.

Additionally, he honored the NCC & NSS Cadets of EJM college for their commendable contributions.
