Kargil, March 12: A delegation led by Sh. Tsering Phuntsog representing Rangdum village recently met with the LG Ladakh, presenting their plea for the incorporation of Rangdum into the Zanskar subdivision. Among their requests were the construction of the Rangdum-Kanji Road, installation of an 11 kv line connecting with the Northern Grid, and the creation of an irrigation canal at Tashi Stongday.

The LG expressed a commitment to examining the proposal thoroughly and encouraged the submission of a formal plan for the road project via the LAHDC Kargil. Furthermore, he assured the provision of electricity from the Northern Grid to Rangdum village.
