Kargil, March 8: The Dhanurdhari Gunners of Fire and Fury Corps, in collaboration with EJM College, commemorated International Women’s Day in Leh on March 8, 2024. The celebration drew widespread participation from female students and accomplished women from various sectors of Ladakhi society.

Among the distinguished guests were Mrs. Tsering Chhondal, President of the Women’s Alliance of Ladakh, Mrs. Kunzes Angmo, renowned International Ice Hockey Player and President of the Ladakh Women Ice Hockey Foundation, and Mrs. Rigzen Wangmo Lachie, an esteemed Entrepreneur and Hotelier. Their presence inspired the audience with tales of their remarkable achievements.

The event was enhanced by the vibrant performance of the Royalangs band and cultural presentations by college students. Additionally, NCC girl cadets showcased their patriotism through a spirited trekking expedition in the nearby hills.
