Administration invites stakeholders’ inputs on extension of Municipal Area Kargil
VoL Desk, March 16: A committee formed for the extension of the Municipal Area of Kargil has submitted its proposal to the UT Administration proposed to extend the Municipal Area of Kargil.
The proposed area includes Tumail Colony, up to Rangyul resort on the eastern side, beyond Ringmospang on the southern side including Chutuk Brokbo up to Hotel Chutuk Heights, and Kharul up to Harka Bahadur Bridge on the northern side.
The proposal has been published in the Public domain inviting objections from the stakeholders and local residents, with in the period of six weeks from the date of its publication in the official gazette and on the official website. The objection can be filled in written before the UT administration through DC, Kargil.

As per the order of the UT Administration a committee was formed for the submission of the proposal for extending the Municipal area of Kargil. After the consultation with the Stakeholders and approval of the LAHDC, Kargil the Committee submitted the proposal to the UT administration.
