Kargil, Feb 16: On the third day of the Zanskar Winter Sports & Tourism Festival 2023-24, an exhilarating ice climbing exhibition took place at Sheela Waterfall in which experts of Zanskar Ski School Padum and Zanskar Rescue Tungri along with dedicated volunteers scaled the ice rock with determination.

Sub Divisional Magistrate Zanskar, Romil Singh Donk, graced the event as the chief guest, while Bridger Sanjeeve Kohli from the 8th Mountain Division Kumbathang Kargil was the guest of honor. Both the chief guest and other dignitaries enthusiastically joined in climbing the ice rock, adding to the excitement of the event.

A captivating folk culture program was also presented by Ama Tsogspa and other artists from Sheela village, enchanting the audience with their colorful performances.

Tehsildar Zanskar, Sonam Dorjay, along with other Sub Divisional Officers, also witnessed the ice climbing function at the venue.
