VoL Desk, Feb. 20: In a landmark event on Tuesday, the Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi, virtually laid the foundation stone for Sindhu Central University in Ladakh. The ceremony took place at MA Stadium, Jammu, where the Prime Minister addressed the nation and emphasized the significance of the educational institution for the region’s development.

The Hon’ble Lt Governor, Brig (Dr) BD Mishra, also virtually attended the foundation laying ceremony from New Delhi, highlighting the collaborative efforts to bring educational opportunities to Ladakh. The Lt Governor stressed the pivotal role of the teaching faculty in shaping the future of the students and the region.
