LG Approves 12% Subsidy for Sugar Stock clearance, directs reassessing Nambardar honorarium
Kargil, Jan 30: The Lt. Governor, Brig (Dr) BD Mishra, orchestrated a comprehensive review meeting with Departmental Secretaries at the Lt Governor’s Secretariat in Ladakh. The agenda encompassed discussions on ongoing projects, potential initiatives, and addressing public grievances to enhance overall administration.
Various critical issues were scrutinized during the meeting, spanning the establishment of a UT level Recruitment Board, detachment of staff from the education and health departments, provision of helicopter services as needed, wastewater management, improvements in internet connectivity, and enhancements in healthcare equipment.
Notably, the Lt. Governor approved a 12% subsidy for sugar stock clearance, underscoring its significance during press briefings that highlighted the successful and timely completion of ongoing projects in different departments. Furthermore, he directed the formation of a committee to reassess honorarium for Nambardars.

The Lt. Governor also emphasized the imperative of judicious water usage and assessed the progress of the Jal Jeevan Mission in Ladakh.
