EC Education Inspects Residential Winter Classes at Kargil, Pashkum, Shargole
Kargil, Jan 16: Executive Councilor, Education, LAHDC, Kargil, Zakir Hussain on Monday visited various schools of Kargil, Pashkum and Shargole Constituency to assess the functioning of residential winter classes.
ACR Kargil, Mohammad Sharif, Council Shargole Constituency, Mohammad Jawad, Chief Education Officer, Mushtaq Ahmed besides other concerned officers accompanied the EC during the tour.
During the tour, the EC visited Govt. Girls Higher Secondary School Kargil, Govt. High School Tacha, Govt. Higher Secondary School Shargole and GHS Skambo.

At GHS Tacha, the EC asked for suggestions to strengthen the remedial classes. He was apprised of the requirement of extra science and math teachers. The EC assured that necessary measures will be taken regarding it.
At GHHS Shargole, EC Zakir interacted with the students about the functioning of the classes and other facilities being provided to them. The students demanded for a separate toilet and washroom facilities for female students. The EC assured of necessary redressal regarding the matter.
The EC advised the students and teachers to take benefit of these classes and residential boarding as the UT Administration has make all arrangements on it to make sure that the students excel in the CBSE exams.
At GHS Skambo, the EC assessed the various facilities and functioning of the residential boarding and assured that the drinking water facilities would be resolved at the earliest.
The EC addressing the administration and faculty members of the schools asserted that the classes should continue with utmost dedication and the students staying for night boarding should not be allowed to visit their homes.
