75th Republic Day Celebrate at District Headquarter and Sub-divisions in Kargil
Kargil, Jan 26: The 75th Republic Day was celebrated with enthusiasm and patriotic fervor at Khree Sultan Chow Sports Stadium, Bemathang, Kargil where the Chairman/CEC, LAHDC, Kargil, Dr Mohd Jaffer Akhoon unfurled the National Flag.
At the stadium, the CEC inspected the parade and took salute at the march past presented by contingents of Ladakh Police, police band party, NCC Cadets, school contingents etc.
While congratulating people on Republic Day, the CEC said that on Jan 26, 1950, the Indian Constitution was enacted after which India became a Democratic Republic. In the Constitution all religions, colors and races and gender have equal rights without any discrimination.

The 75th Republic Day was celebrated also in Zanskar Sub Division where SDM Zanskar, Romil Singh Donk, unfurled the National Flag and inspected the parade and took a salute at the march past presented by the contingents of Ladakh Police, Ex-Serviceman Ladakh Scout, NCC and various schools.
While addressing the gathering, the SDM greeted the public on Republic Day. He enumerated the major developmental works in Sub Division Zanskar such as NH-301 and NPD roads. He also appreciated all line departments’ efforts and endeavors to provide the best quality service to the public.
Similarly, the 75th Republic Day was celebrated at Drass Sub Division where SDM Drass, Vishal Atri unfurled the National Flag.
During the occasion SDM enumerated the major developmental works that took place in Sub Division Drass such as Zojila Tunnel. He also appreciated the efforts and endeavors of all line departments for providing best quality service to the public.
Meanwhile, the 75th Republic Day was celebrated with enthusiasm at Chiktan where SDM Chiktan, Abdul Gaffar Zargar unfurled the tricolor at Polo Ground, Shagaran, Chiktan.
SDM Zargar highlighted past achievements and outlined plans, emphasizing the importance of unity for Shakar Chiktan’s continued development.
