Kargil, Dec. 09: The Youth Action Committee Kargil, in collaboration with the District Administration Kargil, organized a one-day conference on International Anti-Corruption Day on December 9, 2023.

The Chief Guest for the conference was Deputy Commissioner Kargil, Sheriknt Bala Sahab Suse. The Guest of Honor was Ghulam Muhahiudin Wani, District Chief Vigilance Officer, and Additional Deputy Commissioner Kargil. The conference witnessed active participation from district officers, students from various schools, members of the Youth Action Committee Kargil, and many others.

A highlight of the event was the inter-school speech competition, where Jinaab Iftikhar Hussain (KAS), District Treasury Officer Kargil/CCF LAHDC Kargil, served as a judge to evaluate and observe the students’ speeches.

In the speech and debate competition, Ishtar Batool MPS from Kurbathang secured the first position. Fatima Nisa from Government Girls Higher Secondary School Kargil secured the second position, and Farzana Batool from Government Degree College Kargil secured the third position. Deputy Commissioner Kargil distributed gifts to the winning students.

Towards the end of the conference, Khadim Hussain, Secretary of Youth Action Kargil, expressed gratitude to the District Administration, especially the Chief Guest, for the successful completion and collaboration of the conference. The event concluded with a word of thanks to all participants and the Chief Guest.
