Kargil, Dec 14: Hon’ble Lt. Governor Brig (Dr) BD Mishra in presence of Chairman/CEC, LAHDC, Kargil, Dr Mohd Jaffer Akhoon today inaugurated a voluntary blood donation camp at District Hospital, Kargil.

Deputy Commissioner/CEO, LAHDC, Kargil, Shrikant Suse, Superintendent of Police Kargil, Anayat Ali Chowdhary, and other concerned officers/officials were present during the inaugural ceremony.

While interacting with the volunteer blood donors, the Hon’ble Lt. Governor Brig (Dr) BD Mishra appreciated them for coming forward for the noble cause of blood donation.

On the occasion, appreciation certificates were distributed to commendable blood donors, recognizing their invaluable contribution to the well-being of the community.

The event was organized by Ladakh Blood Donors Group in collaboration with Blood Centre District Hospital Kargil in association with Salute 72 Kargil. During the camp, dedicated volunteers generously contributed 18 pints of blood, while an impressive 100 new donors registered themselves for future requirements.
