Kargil Raises Funds for Needy Patient’s Treatment; Collected 15-20 Lakhs
VoL Desk, Dec. 12: Upon the urging of Executive Councillor for Education, LAHDC Kargil, Zakir Hussain, the Kargil public rallied together, raising an impressive sum of approximately 15 to 20 lakhs within a few days to assist a critically needy patient.
Expressing deep gratitude, the Executive Councillor extended thanks to various entities, including Religious Organizations, Hon’ble Councilors, District Officers, Police Personnel, Associations (such as Merchant, Transport Operators, Hotel & Restaurant, Druggist), for their unwavering support in aiding the unnamed patient who urgently required an operation in Delhi, estimated to cost between Rs. 15-20 lakhs based on medical reports.
Recent updates confirm that an adequate sum has been deposited into the patient’s account. In light of this, heartfelt appreciation was extended to the generous donors from Kargil, Leh, Srinagar, Jammu, Delhi, with special recognition given to the Army Personnel and Civil Armed Forces for their invaluable contributions.

Additionally, a request was made to refrain from further deposits into the patient’s account, as the necessary amount has been successfully credited.
The Executive Councillor reiterated profound thanks to all the distinguished donors involved in this compassionate initiative.
