Dual Earthquakes Strike Ladakh and Kishtwar, No Casualties Reported
Kargil, Dec 26: In the wee hours of Tuesday, Ladakh experienced a 4.5 magnitude earthquake. As per the National Centre for Seismology (NCS), the earthquake occurred at a depth of 5 km at around 4:33 am.
The epicenter of earthquake was located at latitude 34.73 and longitude 77.07.
The NCS reported that an earthquake of magnitude 3.7 on the Richter Scale hit the nearby Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir. According to the NCS, the Kishtwar earthquake occurred at around 1.10 am at a depth of 5 km.

However, no casualties or property damage from either earthquake has been reported.
