VoL Desk, Dec. 14: A delegation consisting of lecturers from different Higher Secondary Schools, accompanied by the Chief Education Officer of Kargil, had a meeting with the Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, Brig (Dr) BD Mishra.

During the meeting, they presented several demands, such as the implementation of Modified Assured Career Progression (MACP), promotions for lecturers and senior lecturers, reinstatement of the 15% college quota, establishment of SCERT/DERT in UT Ladakh, and other pertinent issues.

The HLG patiently listened to all the demands and instructed the relevant officers to delve into the matter further.
