Kargil, Dec 21: Chairman/CEC, LAHDC, Kargil, Dr Mohd Jaffer Akhoon chaired a meeting to discuss the allotted land status of Kurbathang Plateau.

Executive Councillor (Revenue), LAHDC, Kargil, Kacho Mohd Feroz, Deputy Commissioner/CEO, LAHDC, Kargil, Shrikant Suse, ACR Kargil, Mohd Sharif, DFO Kargil, Mohd Ali, Chief Agriculture Officer, K. Mohd Ali Khan, District Horticulture Officer, Mohd Zaffar, Chief Animal Husbandry Officer Kargil, Dr Gulzar Hussain, Principal Scientist KVK, Dr Mohd Mehdi, Naib Tehsildar, Sajjad Hussain and GMI Horticulture, Mohd Ibrahim attended the meeting.

ACR Kargil provided detailed information to the CEC regarding the land in possession of various departments in Kurbathang Kargil.

CEC Dr Jaffer directed the DC Kargil to establish a committee for ongoing monitoring of land status and instructed them to conduct on-site visit.

Moreover, the CEC mandated the submission of comprehensive land acquisition plans by the concerned departments. He emphasized the significance of strictly adhering to all necessary procedures for land allotment.

Additionally, the CEC gave one-month deadline for the submission of a detailed report outlining the current status of land allotment.
