VoL Desk, Oct. 12: Amid speculations that the independent candidates who emerged victorious in the recent LAHDC Kargil elections, are going to support a single political party, the two candidates convened a deliberation recently, said reliable sources close to the candidates.

The independent candidates have joined hands and decided to support the coalition of the Jammu Kashmir National Conference and Indian National Congress from outside without joining any political party for now.

The independent candidates also criticised BJP JK Chief, Ravinder Raina over his controversial statement that they are proxies of the BJP. The candidates say that there were BJP candidates contesting from the same constituency, thus how the other candidate from the same constituency could be a proxy of the BJP.

Pertinent to mention that there were speculations that the independent candidates have decided to join the Indian National Congress.
