DC Kargil Unveils Revised Schedule for 5th LAHDC Elections Vote Counting
VoL Desk, Oct. 05: In an revised official statement released today, Deputy Commissioner Shrikant Balasaheb Suse of Kargil has detailed the vote counting plan for the upcoming 5th LAHDC Kargil elections, set to take place on October 08, 2023 at Government Polytechnic College, Kargil.
According to the order, the vote counting process will commence at 8 am in the morning on the specified date, with various shifts clearly outlined. The Bhimbat, Padum, and Stakchay-Khangral (1st Shift) constituency counts will kick off promptly at 8 am, requiring concerned officials and candidates to report at the counting site by 7:30 am. Similarly, for Taisuru, Pashkum, and Ranbirpura Drass (2nd Shift), the reporting time will be 8:30 am.
For Yourbaltak, Choskore, and Chiktan (3rd Shift), the reporting time has been set for 9:30 am. Those associated with Parkachik, Barsoo, and Cha (4th Shift) are required to report by 10:30 am, whereas for Kargil town, Baroo, and Thasgam-Thuvina (5th Shift), the designated time is 11:30 am.

The counting for Shakar, Silmoo, and Poyen (6th Shift) will commence at 12:30 pm, followed by Thangdumbur, Lankarchay, and Trespone (7th Shift) at 02:00 pm. Saliskote, GM Pore, and Chuliskamboo (8th Shift) constituencies will have their counting starting at 02:30 pm.
The final shift, encompassing Shargole and Karsha (9th Shift) constituency, will commence counting at 03:00 pm. All concerned parties are urged to adhere strictly to these timings to ensure a smooth and efficient vote counting process.
