Kargil, Oct 26, 2023: Chairman/Chief Executive Councillor, LAHDC, Kargil, Dr Mohd Jaffer Akhoon today conducted a meeting regarding to detachment of teaching and non-teaching employees of Education Department Kargil.

The meeting was attended by Executive Councilor, Mohammad Feroz Kacho, Executive Councilor, Aga Syeed Mujtaba, Executive Councilor, Zakir Hussain and Director School Education UT Ladakh, Tsering Paldan.

The CEC stressed upon the Director School Education UT Ladakh to resolve the issue of attached teaching/non- teaching staff of the Council Model Schools/Pilot schools and other departments of Kargil District by constituting a committee for the said purpose. He directed not to permit approval/sanction for shifting of post from one school to another school.

During the meeting, the Director School Education highlighted through power point presentation with regards to school wise academic performance of the academic year 2023-24. In this regard, the CEC appreciated the Director School Education and his team for initiatives taken in this regard.

During the meeting, the winter coaching class for the regular students of class 10th and 12th came under discussion. The Director School Education highlighted the proposal for day school and hostel facilities by engaging the subject-specific teacher/lecturers from the concerned High/Higher Secondary Schools which was unanimously agreed upon the improvement/achievement of good result in the CBSC Examination 2023-2024, scheduled to be held in March 2024.

It was also proposed that during the winter, the Government Schools shall remain open for class 10th and 12th by the direction of Director School Education UT Ladakh.
