KARGIL, September 12: In a vibrant display of innovative and creative science ideas, Muttahary Public High School Saliskote (MPHS) hosted a science exhibition on Monday within its premises.

The event featured Chairman MPHS Saliskote, Aga Syed Kazim Sabiri, as the Chief Guest, and esteemed individuals like Dr. Mohd Saleem, Assistant Professor and Coordinator of the Department of Environmental Science at Kargil Campus, and Dr. Hadi Ali, Assistant Professors from the Department of Chemistry at Kargil Campus University of Ladakh, who served as the event’s jury members.

The science exhibition was centered around various themes and underwent thorough evaluation by the panel of judges.

Themes covered during the exhibition included solar energy, organic farming, hemodialysis, drip irrigation, electricity generation from waste, as well as the causes and effects of air and water pollution.

Students passionately discussed the environmental challenges faced by the Ladakh region and other parts of our country. They emphasized pressing global issues such as global warming and its adverse effects, as well as critical concerns like deforestation and environmental pollution that impact local communities.

Students enthusiastically participated in the exhibition, creating numerous models related to these issues. They showcased and explained their models to the judges and other visitors.

Chairman Aga Syed Kazim Mosavi Sabiri, the chief guest of the program, expressed gratitude to the jury members and all parents for dedicating their valuable time to support the school students and attend the event.

Parents who visited the exhibition praised all the participants for their outstanding and impressive models. The exhibition concluded with the distribution of prizes among the participants by the Chairman and jury members. The first-place winner received a cash prize of RS 1000.

The institution’s Principal, in his speech, commended and encouraged all participating students and the accompanying teachers for their efforts in unveiling their innovative ideas through these models. He also acknowledged the teachers for their role in conceptualizing the models for display and urged the students to continue focusing on innovative ideas.
