GDC Drass launches first batch of “21st Century Employability Skills Course”
Kargil, Sep 11: GDC Drass today launched the first batch of “21st Century Employability Skills Course: Intermediate” at the college campus under the guidance of Principal, Dr Amjad Ali Abassi.
Employability Course: Intermediate on is offered by Wadhwani Foundation in collaboration with Higher Education Department UT Ladakh. It is a three-month skills course aimed at honing fundamental skills such as communication, teamwork, costumer centricity, attitude and behavioral skills, problem-solving, workplace awareness skills and interview skills, among others.
Emphasizing the importance of the course, Stanzin Stamdin, the course trainer, urged students to maximize their benefits from it and advised them to engage with the course content daily and complete the exercise diligently.

In-charge Principal of the college, Mumtaz Ahmad congratulated the first ever batch of the course. He said that this batch is a trail run and assured that if students make the best use of it, the college will increase its intake capacity in the upcoming batches.
Assistant Professor, Sajad Hussain also encouraged students to take this wonderful course seriously and assured them that this well-structured course will significantly enhance their basics skills, preparing them for various competitive exams in the near future. A total number of 26 students have enrolled for this course.
