Leh, 18 August: The Hon’ble Lt Governor, Brig (Dr) BD Mishra launched the Right to Information (RTI) and e-System of Asset Management (e-SAM) portals. LG lauded both initiatives and called them comprehensive and all-inclusive.

He stated that both innovative initiatives are a major step towards realizing the goal of efficient governance in Ladakh. He appreciated the IT experts from NIC Karnataka and NIC Ladakh for preparing the portal in a short time.

The HLG stated that the citizens of Ladakh can now easily file their RTIs through the launch of the online RTI portal. He highlighted the need for dedicated officials to take care of the portals for better effectiveness.
