VoL Desk, August 07: On UT Declaration Day at Cultural Complex Leh, the Hon’ble Lt. Governor, Brig (Dr) BD Mishra, marked a significant milestone by laying the foundation stone of the Ladakh Cultural Centre. Emphasizing efficiency, the HLG has directed timely completion of the project.

Commending Sh. Mipham Otsal, Director of Ladakh Theatre Group, the HLG extended gratitude for contributing 10 canals of land towards the construction of the cultural centre. The state-of-the-art facility, funded by a 96.47 crores rupees Special Development Package (SDP), stands as a testament to Ladakh’s rich culture and heritage.

In addition to LG Ladakh, the event witnessed the presence of CEC LAHDC Leh Adv. Tashi Gyaltsan, Ladakh’s Member of Parliament Jamyang Tsering Namgyal, Commissioner Secretary of Culture and Tourism, Mehboob Ali Khan, alongside various other distinguished officials.
