Three Arrested in Leh Police Assault Case, ADGP Assures Stricter Action
VoL Desk, July 25: The Ladakh Police has arrested three individuals in connection with the assault on two police personnel in Leh on Sunday evening, as confirmed by Additional Director General of Police, Dr. Shiv Darshan Singh Jamwal.
Dr. Jamwal made the announcement during a meeting with various stakeholders from the Kargil district, including civil societies, religious organizations, political parties, and sitting councilors.
During the meeting, the stakeholders strongly condemned the heinous assault on the police personnel and urged for stringent action against the accused. In response, ADGP Jamwal assured them that strict action will be taken.

Pertinent to mention that wo cops of Ladakh police were allegedly assaulted by some miscreants in Leh on Sunday evening, causing serious injuries to both of them.
Speaking to the media, Dr. Jamwal emphasized his commitment to maintaining law and order in the region. He also promised to address several issues raised by the public representatives, including the upgradation of police posts to police stations, establishment of fire and emergency services at police stations, and support for sports activities, arts, and crafts.
The public representatives also praised the commendable service and efforts of the Ladakh Police in various aspects of life.
