Kargil, July 15: In a stunning display of talent and creativity, a team of young artists from Kargil, Ladakh has emerged victorious by winning all the prizes in a painting competition organized by the Indian Army during the Kargil Vijay Diwas celebrations.

The event aimed to commemorate the bravery and sacrifices made by the Indian soldiers during the Kargil War of 1999.

On the auspicious day of Kargil Vijay Diwas Shastra Pradarshan, General Officer Commanding (GOC) along with his team had an interaction with the young artists. The commander of Kargil Garrison gave away the prizes.

The initiative aimed to commemorate the heroism and sacrifice of the soldiers during the Kargil War and inspire the youth through the arts.

He emphasized the importance of paying tribute through art and commended the effort of the art community in capturing the essence of the Kargil War and immortalizing the heroes through their work.
