Leh, July 15: Zonal Level Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) Teaching Learning Materials (TLM) Mela organised by DIET Leh for Khaltse Zone on July 14. The event was graced by Tehsildar Khaltse, Tanveer Ahmed as chief guest & Zonal Education Officer, Khaltse Sonam Dolker was the guest of honor.

A total of 43 schools have participated. It was informed that this year private Schools have also participated in the event. Many creative and innovative ideas were displayed in the form of TLM by schools’ participants. Also, participants shared their best experiences at the valedictory session.

Delden Angmo, Assistant Professor, Govt, Degree College Khaltse was the judge and she added that such kind of mela helps to improve the education standard in Schools & TLM should be child friendly for CWSN students in future programs.

Council Model Middle School, Alchi bagged the first position, similarly, Ladakh Alchi Institute bagged the second position and Middle School Takmachik bagged the third position.
