Kargil, May 31: A publicity program on NEP 2020 was organized today at Govt. Model Degree College Zanskar aimed to provide an understanding of the NEP.

More than a hundred students from the Higher Secondary Schools of Zanskar, Sub Division participated in the program.

Dr Jamphel Sheyan, NEP Coordinator of the college spoke at length on the topic and informed students about the silent features of NEP 2020.

He also provided information about the four-year multidisciplinary undergraduate program with multiple exit options offered by the University of Ladakh from the current session.

He also mentioned the curriculum framework, subject option, skill courses and vocational courses in undergraduate program.

Moreover, the University of Ladakh has notified the registration and admission notification for undergraduate courses in all the Constituent Colleges.

In pursuance to this notification, GMDC Zanskar is going to offer registration and admission in UG 1st/2nd Semester from June 01, 2023. The college admission and counseling committee will be available to counsel the students about the subject choice under NEP 2020.
