At Hussaini Park, students and Baseej Jawans paid heartfelt tribute to Imam Khomeini through passionate taranas.
During his speech at the event, Shabbir Ali Warisi shed light on the life and teachings of Ayatollah Khomeini. He emphasized the profound impact of Imam Khomeini, describing him as a Marja Taqleed, philosopher, poet, and great politician. Imam Khomeini possessed extensive knowledge of world history and was well-informed about global affairs. His influence extended beyond Iran, bringing about transformative changes in the world of politics.
Ayatollah Mehdi Mahdavipur, while addressing the gathering, expressed the enduring love and affection towards Imam Khomeini, even after 34 years since his passing. He acknowledged Imam Khomeini as a remarkable personality who successfully amalgamated politics with spirituality, introducing a revolutionary concept that revitalized Iran and resonated worldwide.
The esteemed speaker highlighted Imam Khomeini’s encouragement to fearlessly face the challenges posed by arrogant world powers. He emphasized that those who have faith in God are impervious to harm. Imam Khomeini taught that even in the face of sophisticated weapons, faith in God is the most potent weapon, and the weapon of resistance and faith renders all other weapons useless. He particularly emphasized the significance of Ashura and Ahulbait (AS) in instilling courage.
At the beginning of the Islamic revolution in Iran, powerful nations did not lend their support; instead, they sought to undermine the revolution. Despite having no weapons initially, Iran persevered and emerged victorious through self-belief, converting threats into opportunities. Today, Iran possesses sophisticated weaponry and has become a symbol of resilience.
During the first 20 years of revolution, America stressed upon nations to not supply a single weapons to Iran but today their way of threat has changed and directed other nations to not buy weapons from Iran.
Throughout the eight years of the Iran-Iraq war, the enemies attempted to defeat Iran, but they failed. The speaker attributed this resilience to the deep-rooted connection with the revolution of Karbala. The nation, drawing strength from the blood of Imam Hussain and following in the footsteps of Hazrat Ali Akber, Hazrat Abass, and Hazrat Zainab (AS), never falters.
Imam Khomeini’s leadership paved the way for Iran’s success in various fields, including science, technology, and nano-technology. Medical students from other countries now come to Iran for studies, whereas previously, doctors from India and Pakistan were sought after. Iran has made significant technological advancements to the extent that even Russia, amidst its conflict with Ukraine, seeks weapons supply from Iran.
Imam Khomeini highlighted the multifaceted significance of Karbala, emphasizing the importance of both mourning oppression and embracing knowledge, resistance, and sacrifice.
Despite the challenges faced by Iran, they have consistently supported and protected other Islamic nations. When ISIS, under the influence of America and Israel, occupied Iraq and Syria, Haji Qasim Sulamani, acting on the orders of Imam Khamenei, mobilized Baseej forces and successfully defeated the enemies. Without their intervention, ISIS would have controlled Iraq and Syria, jeopardizing the stability of the region.
In Syria, when the threats to the tomb of Hazrat Zainab (AS) were overwhelming, Haji Qasim Sulamani urgently summoned Baseej forces, ensuring that Zainab (AS) would not fall captive again. Today, Karbala, Najaf, Kaziman, and Samira are protected due to Iran’s unwavering commitment, which has resulted in countless martyrs.
