Dr. Shiv Darshan Singh Jamwal Appointed as ADGP of Ladakh
VoL Desk, June 06: In a recent development, Dr. Shiv Darshan Singh Jamwal has been appointed as the new Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) of Ladakh. He will be taking over the reins from Sh. S. S. Khandare, IPS, following the approval of the Competent Authority.
Dr. Shiv Darshan Singh Jamwal, an IPS officer belonging to the AGMUT cadre of 1995, brings with him a wealth of experience in the field of law enforcement. With this transfer, he bids farewell to his previous post as Additional Director General of Police in Jammu & Kashmir.
As the Head of Police for the Union Territory of Ladakh, Dr. Shiv Darshan Singh Jamwal will shoulder the responsibility of maintaining law and order, ensuring the safety and security of the region’s residents, and implementing effective policing measures. His appointment is effective immediately from the date he assumes charge and will remain in effect until further orders.
