Anjuman Moin-ul-Islam Leh Initiates Translation of Holy Quran into Ladakhi Language
VoL Desk, June 19: In a significant development for the Ladakh region, Anjuman Moin-ul-Islam Leh, a prominent religious and social organization, has announced its plan to translate the Holy Quran Sharif into the Ladakhi language. Dr. Abdul Qayum, the President of Anjuman Moin-ul-Islam, led a delegation that recently met with the Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor (HLG) Brig (Dr) Mishra to discuss their ongoing projects and initiatives.
During the meeting, Dr. Qayum informed the LG about various projects undertaken by Anjuman Moin-ul-Islam. These projects include the construction of a Girls Hostel in Jammu, the establishment of a Residential School for Girls in Saboo, and the provision of coaching services for UPSC aspirants from underprivileged backgrounds at their Learning Centre.
Highlighting their commitment to promoting the local language, Dr. Qayum revealed that the organization has commenced the translation of the Holy Quran Sharif into Ladakhi language
