MPHS Saliskote Pays Tribute to Ayatollah Shaheed Murtaza Mutahhary
KARGIL, MAY 2: Mutahhary Public High School, Saliskote celebrated its 30th Annual Day and Shaheed Mutahhary Day as “Teachers’ Day” in commemoration of the martyrdom anniversary of Ayatullah Shayeed Murtaza Mutahhary on Tuesday. The event was organized by the Board of Management of Mutahhary Public High School Saliskote, Kargil.
Feroz Khan, Chairman & Chief Executive Councillor of LAHDC-Kargil, was the Chief Guest, and Aga Syed Arman, Councillor of Saliskote-Faroona Constituency, was the guest of honor on this occasion. Dignitaries present at the event included CEO Kargil Mr. Amin, Dy. CEO Sankoo Mohd Hadi, Project Director KREDA Kacho Ahmad Khan, Asst. Secretary JKBOSE, Principal HSS Trespone, HS Saliskote, as well as students, parents, guardians, and village elders.
The guests were welcomed by Chairman MPHS Saliskote, Agha Syed Kazim Saberi, and a Guard of Honour was presented by the NCC student contingent. The program commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran. Chairman MPHS Saliskote extended a warm welcome to the Chief Guest, Hon’ble Feroz Ahmed Khan, CEC/Chairman, LAHDC, Kargil, with a traditional Khatak. Other dignitaries present at the program were also cordially welcomed with traditional Khataks.

President MPHS-Saliskote Haji Mohd Hussain Arzoo formally welcomed all the esteemed guests. Various cultural programs, dramas, and speeches were presented by the students, followed by a speech from the Honorable Chief Guest.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Guest congratulated Mutahhary School for its academic excellence and achievements in various fields. CEC/Kargil Shri Feroz Khan expressed his gratitude to the teaching staff for making MPHS Saliskote a source of pride for the region and for nurturing future generations.
During the concluding session of the program, a prize distribution ceremony was conducted to felicitate Qalbi Hussain as the best student of the year, Behesti house as the Best House of the year, and Syed Ali Shah for outstanding academic performance as an ex-teacher.
In conclusion, Chairman MPHS Saliskote, Syed Kazim Musavi Saberi, delivered a vote of thanks speech on behalf of MPHS-Saliskote.
