Kargil, April 04, 2023: Executive Councilor for works, LAHDC, Kargil, Mubarak Shah Naqvi today visited Chanigund area of Kargil to assess land feasibility for various developmental works and also took a  review of other ongoing developmental works

Councilor Chuliskambo, Altaf Hussain, JE, PWD, Kargil Muhammad Hassan, Lamberdar Chanigund, Sarpanch, Naib Sarpanch, Panchs and locals of Chanigund accompanied the EC Naqvi.

While taking assessment of the land, EC Naqvi said the land is feasible for construction of  playground and assured the villagers that the construction work will be started at the earliest.

EC Naqvi directed the JE PWD to prepare DPR for construction of playground. Meanwhile, Councilor Chuliskambo Altaf Hussain approved Rs 10 lakh from CDF fund for playground.

During the visit, the EC also assessed the land for construction of Higher Secondary School in Chanigund and demarcated the area for construction of multi-purpose hall.

Naqvi also reviewed the construction work of lift irrigation at Chanigund and directed the concerned officers to complete it within the given time.

He assured the villagers that the work of lift irrigation will be completed at the earliest.
