Kargil, March 10, 2023: His Holiness 43rd Sakya Trizin Gyana Vajra Rinpoche, who is on a visit to Ladakh, today began his three-day visit to Zanskar valley and was received at Padum with a warm welcome.

HH Sakya Trizin was given a warm welcome at Padum Civil Helipad by President Zanskar Buddhist Association, President All Gonpa Association Zanskar, President Youth Wing ZBA, Incharge Sub Divisional Magistrate Zanskar, Station House Officer Zanskar, President Numberdar Association Zanskar, President Ama Tsogspa and devotees of His Holiness.

From Civil Helipad to Duzin Photang, HH Sakya Trizin was escorted by the administration and the religious heads with traditional reception. At Photang, His Holiness addressed the general public about the teaching of Lord Buddha and religious activities.

Large numbers of devotees gathered at Photang from various villages of Zanskar to get his blessing. Later, His Holiness visited Stongday Gonpa and Marpaling Lamdon School and interacted with the monks and students.
