Leh, Mar 03: On the direction of Chairman/CEC, Adv. Tashi Gyalson, Executive Councillor for Minority Affairs, Ghulam Mehdi visited Upper and Lower Skampari mohallas to review issues regarding the functioning of sewerage drainage lines, and drinking water supplies. 

After reviewing the issues on the ground, EC Mehdi informed that the project has been sanctioned in the District CAPEX budget and accordingly execution of works would initiate. He further informed the residents that Hill Council, Leh is working efficiently to tackle the issues of drainage systems in the urban areas. He also assured to resolve all the other issues raised before him. He instructed the concerned departmental officers to ensure adequate water supplies and resolve the issues raised by the residents. 

EC Mehdi was accompanied by Executive Engineer Igoo Phey Division Leh, AEE PHE Division Leh, BJP Vice President Nazir Ahmed, the Concerned Contractor, and the residents led by their Nambardar and member.
