VoL Desk, Feb. 15: After shifting of more than 33 District Cadre posts from FCS&CA Department, Kargil to district Leh it has surfaced to the public that a District Cadre post of Senior Assistant of Wildlife Department has been shifted to the Divisional Cadre of Wildlife Department, Ladakh.

A letter dated October 11, 2022 No. M/72/2022-OFFICE OF OSD (W)/ 193-200 by Forest, Environment and Ecology, Department, UT Secretariat, Ladakh to the Deputy Commissioner of Leh and Kargil asked for the same, a copy of the letter was tweeted by the LAHDC, Councillor Shakar-Chiktan, Zakir Hussain.

“I am directed to inform that the Forest, Ecology and Environment Department of the UT Ladakh has allotted one (01) post of Senior Assistant of District cadre of Wildlife Department to the Divisional Cadre of Wildlife Department, UT of Ladakh which shall be included in Divisional/UT Cadre of the Department”, read the letter.

“The lonely post of senior assistant of Distt cadre of wild life deptt kargil has now converted to Divisional cadre by UT admin. Kargil is losing every single post day by day”, tweeted the councillor requesting the LG Ladakh, and Divisional Commissioner to intervene.

Earlier, the Councillor, Zakir Hussain had alleged that nine (9) posts of forest Guard and two (2) posts of forester of District cadre of Forest Department, Kargil have shifted to Leh district. His tweet said that the UT admin is playing with the future of educated youths by sowing seed of unemployment in Kargil.
