Leh, Feb 14: The UT Ladakh team showed spectacular performances during the 4th Khelo India Winter Games 2023 and 8th National Ice-stock Sports Championship 2022-23, held from February 10-14 at Gulmarg, and won 14 medals, including four golds for Ladakh in different categories.

In the Ice Hockey tournament, the Men’s team won bronze.

In the Ice-stock championship,  Team Game Men won gold; Target Game Women won gold and also won gold in the Individual target category.

Meanwhile, in Speed Skating, Girls in the 15 to 19 years category won silver; Boys in the 13 to 15 years category won bronze. Similarly, Senior Men won bronze in speed skating.

In the Alpine Individual category of Snow Skiing competition, the UT team won a silver medal.

In the individual category of Snow Shoe competition, UT Ladakh won one gold, one silver and four bronze medals.
