VoL Desk, Jan. 21: The Commissioner Secretary, General Administration Department, Ajeet Kumar Sahu in a fresh order No. 16-LA (GAD) of 2023, dated 19.01.2023 has rescinded the previous order regarding deputation of officials from Ladakh to the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) (NWR), Chandigarh for scrutiny of applications for 797 vacancies of Union Territory of Ladakh.

“The Order No.14-LA(GAD) of 2023 dated: -17.01.2023 issued under endorsement No.1/8471/2023 of e-file No.A-12/2/2023 is hereby rescinded ab-initio”, read the order.

Pertinent to mention that the Member of Parliament from Ladakh, Jamyang Tsering Namgyal posted on his Facebook profile: “I appreciate the Administration of Union Territory of Ladakh for deputing a team of Officers regarding scrutiny and verification of documents of 797 SSC applicants. Assignment of the team is for verification of documents and scrutiny only and they are not involved in any selection. However some candidates have approached me having with some apprehension regarding the composition of the team and I have requested the Administration of Union Territory of Ladakh to review it and renotify the same, if required.”

Later posting the order for rescinding the previous order he wrote, “As informed through my previous facebook post, Ladakh Administration has rescinded the recently issued order on the deputation of officers from Ladakh to SSC (NWR) for scrutiny of the 797 applications.”
