Zanskar, January 27, 2023: Kargil police has succeeded in solving a burglary  case of case FIR No.14/2022 Under Section 457, 380 IPC of Police Station Zanskar with the arrest of one accused namely Stanzin Wangchok.

On 30-12-2022 Police Station Zanskar received a written compliant from one person namely Stanzin Sangdup S/o Sonam Stagat R/o Atting, Zanskar stating therein that during the intervening night of 29th and 30th December some unknown person had entered his shop at Maney Ringmo Padum by breaking the wall of the said shop and taken away 02 mobile phones from his shop.

Accordingly, FIR No.14/2022 under section 457, 380 IPC was registered at the PS Zanskar and investigation was set into motion.

During the course of investigation strenous efforts were made by the Police to nab the accused and trace out the stolen property and finally  the accused namely Stanzin Wangchok S/o Stanzin Namgial  R/o Kumik Zanskar was arrested and recovered the stolen mobile phones worth 39000 Rs from his possession.

The whole efforts were made by Team of Police Station Zanskar headed by Inspector Dorjey Gyalson.

Kargil Police appeals to General Public to report such incidents happening in their area so that culprits shall be booked under law. Any kind of crime or exigency in their area can also be informed through DIAL 112 also.
