Kargil, Dec. 23: The Final Match of the GB Cricket Tournament was played between Shaheen Saliskote and FC Tambis at Shershah Cricket Stadium, Goma Saliskote on Thursday.

On the occasion, Chairman & Chief Executive Councillor Kargil Shri Feroz Ahmad Khan was the chief guest while SM Deputy GOC 8 MTN. DIV HQ Khumbathang, US Anand presided as the guest of honour, and Councillor Saliskote, Aga Syed Hassan Armaan as special guest. Huge spectators were also present on the occasion.

FC Tambis won the toss and opted to field first. Shaheen Saliskote scored 155 in 12 over while chasing the target FC Tambis scored only 114. Shaheen Saliskote lifted the trophy by 40 runs.

While speaking on this occasion Shri Feroz Ahmad Khan CEC, LAHDC-Kargil stressed upon the youth to take part in the games and effort to show good performance.

Khan further said that the youth of Kargil are talented in the field of sports. The youth should participate in sports activities at the national and international levels.

Later the prizes were distributed among the winner and runner-up team by the guests.

The ceremony concluded with the vote of thanks presented by the Chief Organiser of GB Cricket Tournament, Imtiyaz Ali.
