YAC march awareness rally in Kargil as part of Vigilance Awareness Week
VoL Desk, Nov. 17: As part of Vigilance Awareness Week, Youth Action Committee (YAC) Kargil Ladakh held a peaceful awareness rally today started from Eco Stand and culminated at Lal Chowk Kargil, read a press release by the organisation.
The rally was organized in a very cordial environment, with the support of Youth organizations, Schools and Financial Crime Unit Kargil, Ladakh.
The peaceful rally was aimed to convey the message to public to be aware of their rights authorised by the constitution of the country and appealed the people to join hands in fighting against the social evils like corruption that is responsible for hampering the development of the entire nation in general and Kargil District in particular.

On the occasion, various speakers and activists addressed the rally. Prominent among them was Vigilance Inspector Mohd Shameem, public speaker and advisor to YAC Mohd Sajjad Khan and YAC member Khadim Hussain Sapu. During the rally representatives of rZamba Foundation, President SEMOK, President Ladakh Tribal Foundation and Team of Financial Crime Unit Kargil were also present.
The speakers highlighted this sensitive issue in a very threadbare manner and invited public to be united and fight for their rights and to denounce the practice of corruption and fight against this menace to vipe out from the society.
The rally ended with the vote of thanks to the District Administration, Schools that cooperated with YAC and made the rally successful with the participation of students and the supporting Youth organizations and Financial Crime Unit Kargil.
