Leh, Nov 25 (DIPR-L): National Rural Livelihood Mission of the Ministry of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj launched a month-long campaign ‘Ending Gender-based Violence’ from Nov 25 to Dec 23 on the occasion of International Day for Elimination of Violence against Women today.

Department of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Leh, including Chairperson, BDC, Leh;  ADDC/ACD, Leh; DPO, Leh; BDC, Leh; members of PRIs; SHGs of NRLM blocks and officers/officials of RDD, Leh virtually participated in the inaugural session from DC Conference Hall, Leh.

In Leh district the campaign to spread awareness about ending gender-based violence and gender equality will be held in various blocks from Nov 25 to Dec 23.
